Construction Site Security Guards in Montreal, Quebec
Montreal’s downtown core, Griffintown, and surrounding boroughs remain in near-constant construction, from high-rise condo towers to major infrastructure and REM transit projects, on tightly bound urban lots surrounded by dense foot traffic.
Construction Site Security Challenges in Montreal
Downtown Montreal and Griffintown’s high-rise and mixed-use construction sites are often squeezed onto tight lots surrounded by pedestrian traffic and metro lines, making perimeter control and material security especially demanding. REM and other transit infrastructure projects add multi-stakeholder coordination requirements, while harsh winters increase the risk of unmonitored sites being targeted for theft.
Unattended construction sites in Montreal are prime targets for theft of tools, copper wiring, lumber, and heavy equipment, as well as vandalism, trespassing, and unauthorized dumping. Licensed, on-site security is one of the most effective and cost-efficient ways to prevent these losses before they happen.
