Construction Site Security Guards in Squamish, British Columbia
Squamish’s rapid residential growth along the Sea to Sky Highway between Vancouver and Whistler, combined with its outdoor-recreation tourism economy, has created a construction environment requiring disciplined, licensed site security.
Construction Site Security Challenges in Squamish
Residential and resort-adjacent construction in Squamish sees seasonal spikes in tourist and weekend traffic tied to the region’s recreation economy, increasing vandalism and unauthorized access risk, while the town’s rapid subdivision growth adds standard overnight theft exposure.
Unattended construction sites in Squamish are prime targets for theft of tools, copper wiring, lumber, and heavy equipment, as well as vandalism, trespassing, and unauthorized dumping. Licensed, on-site security is one of the most effective and cost-efficient ways to prevent these losses before they happen.
